Functions of Para-Amino Benzoic Acid (PABA) :

1. Stimulates intestinal bacteria.
2. Acts in the capacity of a coenzyme in the breakdown of proteins.

1. Sulfa drugs cause a deficiency of PABA.

6. Constipation.
