Flavonoids Linked to Improved Mental Health

A diet rich in flavonoids–compounds in fruit, vegetables, coffee, tea, and chocolate–could reduce the decline of mental function associated with age, says a new study from France.

“This study raises the possibility that dietary flavonoid intake is associated with better cognitive evolution,” wrote lead author Luc Letenneur in the "American Journal of Epidemiology."

Flavonoids have been receiving interest with a mounting body of science, including epidemiological and laboratory-based studies, continuing to report the cancer-fighting potential of a number of different flavonoids, such as isoflavones, anthocyanidins, and flavonols.

Tonight’s call brings on Bernie Owens, who will be talking about the Health Freedom Protection Act (HR2117). This is an important Act that greatly pertains to the business, so be prepared to learn some very valuable information during the discussion. We’ll also welcome on Norman Burt, who will tell us all about his success in his meetings with Joanne Conaway, RN.

Make sure to join us this and every Thursday night at 5:00 PM Pacific, followed by The Leadership Training Call with Sandy Elsberg at 6:00 PM Pacific. Dial (303) 664-6005, ID number 801-6610. Help reduce background noise, and please remember: *6 to mute, *7 to un-mute.

Summer Tips to Keep Your Business Hot!

Here is an idea to help build and inspire your team: Hold your own Monday morning conference call with your leaders. Use this time to discuss at least three things you intend to focus on or accomplish during the coming week. I think you will find that when you share what you intend to accomplish with others, plus what you're committing to do, you and your team will be more inspired to take action. If you are new, try gathering fellow distributors together who are interested in using the power of group focus to grow their business. Using a conference-type call is time-efficient and cost-effective for team-building activities.
