UK to "Urge" Obese to Be "Personally Responsible For Their Weight"
A UK Government forecast predicts that almost one third of the British population will be dangerously overweight with junk food and lack of exercise to blame, reports The Independent.
Officials from the Department of Health are reportedly ready to urge adults to take "personal responsibility" for their weight, a move that is in stark contrast with recent suggestions that the food industry was behind the obesity epidemic and should exercise "corporate social responsibility", and virtually absolving consumers of accountability. Recently, US pediatrician Robert Lustig, MD, from the University of California, San Francisco said that the "toxic environment" of Western diets causes hormonal imbalances that encourage overeating. The comments were heavily publicized by many consumer news services.
"Tackling obesity is a government-wide priority," the Department of Health spokesman told The Independent. "But every individual has responsibility for their own health."

Conference Calls Schedule
Last week's Conference Call featured Holly Fedor, a NuVANTE distributor, who joined the call to elaborate on the exciting skin care products now available to everyone!
Established in 2003, NuVANTE's line of skin care and health products were developed to showcase the company's unique discoveries in nutritional science and "Innovative Technology" with the fundamental purpose of creating and maintaining healthy skin. NuVANTE products are safe for everyone and work for the skin on many levels. Nourish and Replenish are products that work at the cellular level by stimulating cell turnover, improving circulation, and restoring the skin's natural moisture. While Nourish and Replenish are active and effective products for the skin, NuVANTE also offers LIGHT alternatives of these products. The LIGHT products retain the active ingredients found in Nourish and Replenish, but carry a smaller percentage of oils for lighter results. Gentle Cleanse is a lightweight cleanser that removes dirt and impurities without irritating the skin and is also recommended as an effective makeup remover. NuC is NuVANTE's pure Vitamin C product that when applied to the skin can help aid the reparation and reproduction of skin cells, reduce acne and stimulate collagen production, which may enhance the elasticity of the skin.

Help Avoid Computer Viruses That Spread Through E-mail
Many of the most common computer viruses and other malicious software are spread through e-mail attachments the files that are sent along with an e-mail message. If a file attached to an e-mail message contains a virus, it's often launched when you open the file attachment (usually by double-clicking the attachment icon). No matter what e-mail program you use or what version of Windows you're running, you can help avoid some viruses by following a few basic rules. If you use the latest version of Outlook or Outlook Express and if you use the latest version of Windows, there are a few unique enhancements and default settings to help keep you from accidentally infecting your computer with a virus.
5 tips for dealing with e-mail attachments
Follow these basic guidelines when dealing with attachments in an e-mail message:
- Don't open any attachment unless you know whom it's from and you were expecting it.
- If you receive an e-mail message with an attachment from someone you don't know, delete it immediately.
- Use anti virus software and keep it updated.
- If you need to send an e-mail attachment to someone, let them know you'll be sending it so they don't think it's a virus.
- Use spam filters to help block unwanted e-mail, much of which contains dangerous attachments. For information on how to do this with Outlook, see "Update junk e-mail filters" for Outlook.
Important: Youngevity and other reputable companies will never send you unsolicited e-mails that contain attachments. If you receive an e-mail attachment that appears to come from Youngevity, it may contain a virus, spyware, or another e-mail scam designed to steal your identity. Delete the e-mail immediately.
